Your robot adventure with the mBot2! (For children aged 8-12 years)
Bring your own robot to life and discover the world of programming!
In this course, our young engineers embark on an exciting mission with the clever robot mBot2. Specifically designed for children aged 8 to 12, this course offers a creative and interactive introduction to the world of robotics and visual programming.
What your child can expect in this course:
-
Creative building and design: Before starting, the mBot2 is assembled and can be individually customized. The children give their robot friend a personal touch and learn about its mechanical and electronic components in the process.
-
Visual programming: Instead of complicated code, children bring the mBot2 to life on a tablet or laptop using an intuitive, block-based programming language. They simply drag and drop commands together and immediately see how the robot executes their instructions.
-
Solve exciting missions: We'll teach the robot how to act autonomously! The children will program it to follow lines, avoid obstacles, navigate through mazes, or react to sounds and light. The possibilities are endless!
-
Exploring with real sensors: Just like a real scientist, your child uses the mBot2's advanced sensors. We measure speed, distance, and light intensity. This data helps us understand the robot's behavior and make it even smarter for new, challenging tasks.
